Pablo Neruda

 He was born on July 12, 1904 & passed away on September 23, 1973
Neruda wrote in a lot different styles such as erotically charged love poems, surrealist poems, historical epics, and overtly political manifestos.

In 1971 Neruda won the Nobel Prize for Literature

 Neruda always wrote in green ink as it was the color of hope.

My Trip to Spain :)

I am taking a trip to Florence, Italy.

I am so excited to be able to tasty authentic Italian Food :) yumm

One place i want try is The Alla Vecchia Bettola, they are famous for there 

" Bistecca Alla Fiorentina"

I am going to be staying at the Il Salviatino

Il Salviatino is a 5 Star Hotel in Florence, Italy

I will be staying there for 8 days, 7 nights

The Cost: EUR- 4334.52 ( in US 6048.82)

Some of the places and things I want go and do are:

 Piazza della Signoria

 Ponte Vecchio bridge -  which is so pretty

Go shopping at one of the Florence leather market

and many more :)

Danger in Spain!

So I recently saw this on the news and wanted to share the story. 
When i heard this story, I just thought that "How crazy is this" , american college students cant even go out of the US, without facing the thought that i might never come home. Studying over seas should be a experience of a life time that you can come home and talk about with all your friends and family. Im sure a lot of students do The Study of Abroad program and come home safely, and we may never know why this happen to him. This is not the first time this happen but it sure needs to be the last!

A "Single" Story

After watching this video i can say that i think everyone is guilty of doing this, i know i have beacuse when i think of africa i think of poor african americans living in little shacks and barely being able to eat. I think this way because i hear it on TV when there talking about help a child in help in africa. I think once you hear something enough your going believe it weather or not its the truth. I think instead of the media betraying a bad image i think good things should be said about africa, south american or where ever cause there are good things that happen and go on in thoughs countrys not just bad things. More than i single story should be said and heard about thing and anyone!

Brazilian women teachers refused jobs for being obese!

In this article five female teachers in Brazil were allegedly turned down for jobs because they were over weight. The women had completed a training course and were ready to begin work when they were told that they were considered “unfit” for the job. The women were in a contest with 9000 other people and after passing all the test, they were told by there doctors that they are unlikly to get the job because of there weight.
